I spent a wonderful afternoon hanging out on Skype with Jenni Polodna and Ryan Veeder for their podcast Clash of the Type-Ins. It’s a rather unusual podcast in which IF authors read through their games out loud while the hosts play them.
In Episode 33, they played (and I read aloud) Beet the Devil, my religious comedy involving vegetables and a puppy.
The recording is the longest podcast I’ve ever been on (a good 145 minutes!) but we had ridiculous amounts of fun. If you have a long session of folding laundry or cleaning or driving ahead, give it a listen. I don’t recall the game ever having boss music before, but it does add a certain something.
