The Island of Doctor Wooby, by Ryan Veeder – Friendly, light parser-based IF about an island of adorable felt dinosaurs. Short, friendly. Also, Ryan will draw your dinosaur if you ask nicely on Twitter.
Campaign Train OF BLOOD, by Caelyn Sandel – Macabre but funny choice-based IF about campaigning for Prime Monister. Caelyn might draw your monster if you ask nicely on Twitter, but would you really want her to?
Graphical recommendation (sort of):
Dream Quest, by Peter Whalen – It’s a deckbuilding roguelike with surprising mechanical depth. It also has the ugliest art I’ve ever seen in a commercial release, which is probably why “[m]ost of the people who like Dream Quest are either between 8 and 11, or game designers” (Medium interview).
